Assistant Principal- Ms. Shawnee Blake

 

Dear Luella Cub Families,

It is with great excitement to share that I am one of the newly appointed Assistant Principals of Luella Elementary School.  I am grateful for the opportunity to help lead and serve at a school that is filled with individuals who only want to WIN! I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the staff, students, and families.  
I have been dedicated to the field of education for 17 years and have worked with students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 5th grade as a general/special education and EIP teacher. Most recently, I have served in the role as Student Support Facilitator where I was able to serve students, teachers and families of special education. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Luella Elementary School and work alongside my distinguished counterparts, Dr. Barkley and Mrs. Graham. 
I have a servant leadership that is focused on ensuring that there is immediate impact through my servitude and believe that every student can win every minute of every day. I am thrilled to share my experiences, willingness to learn and student-centered approaches to the LUE!  Because relationships matter, I cannot wait to meet you all soon!
