Counselor- Ms. Lakeshia Fleming

My name is Lakeshia Fleming. I am your co-school counselor at Luella Elementary. I was a teacher and taught all elementary grades for 16 years. I am excited to begin my 21st year in education and 5th year as a professional school counselor. I am a proud HBCU attendee representing the South Carolina State University Bulldogs (FEAR THE BITE!) I received my dual Master’s degrees in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

I have been happily married for 28 years. My husband and I have two intelligent, kind, gorgeous adult daughters.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping and volunteering. I enjoy spending time with my gigantic fun-loving family and dear friends.

I look forward to serving the students in our community at Luella Elementary. I am humbled and grateful to support our families and students in excelling academically, emotionally and socially. My “Boots ARE On The Ground” in shaping every students’ overall success
