Teacher Bio

My name is Sara Blankenship, and I have been in education since 2001. I graduated from Auburn University.  I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades in Alabama and Georgia.  I enjoy teaching all subject areas and am excited to teach Math & Science!  I am excited to be a part of the Luella Elementary family as school is my home away from home.  When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with my family.  I have two older sisters who live in Alabama and two younger brothers.  One of my brothers is a Captain in the Air Force and lives in California and the other lives in Georgia. I have one nephew who lives in Alabama, and I have two nephews and one niece who live in Georgia.  We love to swim, fish, play basketball, and go on Pokemon adventures!  You may hear your child talk about my cats:  George and Mr. Chonky.  They are very silly, and I love to share stories about them.
